We are pleased to announce the release of our 2008 vintage wines.

Realm Cellars produced six wines from the 2008 vintage including three blends (The Bard, The Falstaff & The Tempest) along with three single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines (Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Farella & Beckstoffer To Kalon). Total production was slightly less than 1,700 cases.

As critic Robert Parker recently noted in an online posting (shortly after the Realm team met with him on October 31st), "the sweet spot of 2008 - and it has turned out to an exceptional [vintage] - is Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc as well as Petit Verdot and Merlot." Mr. Parker went on to say "some are as compelling as their 2007s ... a few are superior to their 2007s...no small accomplishment." Given Realm Cellars' exclusive focus on Bordeaux varietals, we share this enthusiasm for the 2008 vintage and believe our 2008 vintage portfolio is representative of this commentary.

Our Winter 2010 release is being conducted entirely via our web site and secure online ordering system where personalized allocations can be found and Wish List requests can be submitted. You can log into our online ordering system using your email address and personalized password - if you are logging in for the first time please use realm (one word, lower case) as your temporary password.

Consistent with previous offerings, there is a 3-bottle minimum for this release. While supply constraints require us to apply allocation limits, if you have interest in purchasing bottles (750 ml & 1.5L) in addition to your allocation we encourage you to use the Wish List feature. Wish List requests will only be considered and fulfilled once the 3-bottle minimum has been achieved from wines you have been allocated. Allocations cannot be guaranteed and we will do our best to fulfill requests for additional wine.
